Downstairs, the main living room has a wood burning stove, parquet flooring and benefits from views to the garden. The study (with lovely original bread ovens which also feature in the utility room) is accessed from the main living room and there is a further living room which could alternatively provide a guest bedroom/bedroom 5. The kitchen/diner, with insulated brick floor, exudes charm, with space for a central dining table or preparation table as well as an oil fired Aga and painted beams. In addition there is a modern electric oven and hob (tbv), which is a welcome addition for modern family life, as well as a newly fitted kitchen which includes hand-built wooden kitchen units with maple wood surfaces and butler sink. There is also a sun room/conservatory is to the rear of the utility room. Furthermore there is a downstairs shower and separate cloakroom.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is dual aspect, and there are a further three bedrooms. The family bathroom has a wooden bench style vanity unit, wood flooring, as well as a freestanding bath and bidet. The rooms to the front also benefit from lovely views to Monks House and its woodland.
To the front of the property there is a spacious garden, mainly laid to lawn, with mature trees and hedges. To the rear there is also a walled garden, laid to lawn, which the current owners in part use to house their family of guinea pigs & rabbits!
