I visited the property I was purchasing 5 or 6 times for various pre-exchange checks and they were happy to facilitate every visit. I chose Winkworth to market my late father’s bungalow in Romsey, initially approaching them as their portfolio, although varied, represent similar houses. When I met Dan at the premises, I was impressed by his enthusiasm, but also by the research he had done, looking at similar properties that had sold in the immediate area. The commission was also very competitive. Dan was efficient and effective, and the house was marketed quickly, selling on the first day for the full asking price. All the estate agents in Romsey we have had dealings with over the years have been good/very good. However Winkworth is the standout by some distance. It is a small, close-knit team who work really well together and show a real empathy with their clients. Whomever one speaks with in the office, they will be fully conversant with your case and be able to help you. Winkworth is highly profession in their approach but alongside give a personal touch with a genuine understanding of the need for reassurance and support through what, at times, can be a stressful and emotional process. Simply the best.

There are a lot of Esatae Agents in Romsey. Have made a 'one-time' contact with many of them, but emphasise only once. Few really listen to your requirements, many send you properties totally unsuitable to your request. There are couple who are exceptions to this approach and Winkworth' stands out as a star. I was only sent properties with a close match to request and in the selling process potential buyers were folks with real interest rather than folks who came to 'kick the tyres'! Hard to do better!!
