I sold my Highgate (London) property through Winkworth, with whom I had also previously rented the same property. We were nervous about selling given the difficult economic period and downturn in UK sales market. However the manager for the Winkworth's Highgate office, James Wilkinson, handled the sale to a high standard of professionalism throughout and demonstrated a spot-on understanding of the market. He suggested the ideal sale price in the current market and estimated the time needed to complete. Both proved accurate: a buyer was found within less than a month and the property sold at asking price. James' proactive follow-up with the buyer and management of the exit of the tenants was very helpful in steering the sale to conclusion on time without hiccups. He responded to emails promptly and was available to speak whenever needed. Overall, an agent with integrity and knowledgeable experience of the market. Highly recommended.

We bought our house through Winkworth Highgate and then due to sad circumstances we had to sell it again only a year later. Daryl came to view the property and gave us some excellent advice about how to prepare it for sale, and James then managed the sale itself, securing us an over-asking-price offer less than a week from listing. We were unlucky with our first buyer and James’s advice was excellent throughout (he did warn us about the buyer from the very beginning!), allowing us to move on and find a second buyer within 48 hours this time (James had already lined them up)! James and Vanita were by far and away the most professional, reassuring and least 'salesy' agents we met when putting our property back on the market. We had been on for a long time with two different agents and therefore met with a small handful of other agents to ensure we got the best of the local bunch - and they were just that. Massive Thank You

Yesterday was a bit crazy so this is the first chance we've had to drop you a line. \nWe were out of Claremont at 2 exactly, Sam's removal lorry was on hand to take the place vacated by ours, I then handed the keys over to Sam personally. Our stuff has gone off to storage and we're installed in our temporary accommodation in Finchley. We expect to move into Cromwell within the fortnight. \nIt's been a huge help getting in early with our contractors. Happily, we no longer have to worry about completion not happening for some reason and how we were going to reinstate the brown bathroom. \nSo a massive thank you to you both for helping us put together the two deals and get them over the line. We're a bit all over the place at the moment and will be for a while but we're absolutely delighted with the big picture. \nIt's been something of an odyssey over the past two years and there were times when we doubted we'd get there.
