I am in the process of purchasing a property through Winkworth Highbury estate agents, which has been a pleasant experience compared to other purchases I have made previously. I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Nick as he worked to secure a sale on my property. In a market that wasn't particularly buoyant, Nick found a purchaser that, I believe, few others could have. As a foreign vendor, I never met Nick in person, but he communicated brilliantly with me over email and/or phone, across multiple time zones, making a process that could have been remarkably stressful, far less so. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Winkworth Highbury branch team as agents for selling a property - especially Nick Moore and Brian Mannion. Nick carried out the initial valuation and gave us a clear, thorough overview of the Winkworth sales process, he followed up promptly with all documentation, contracts, and a transparent breakdown of fees. Professional and supportive throughout, giving us a gentle nudge when we were a little slow getting started (understandable when you’re coming to terms with letting go of a flat you love). The photography was included in the fee, and the photographer was excellent - professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. We were provided with direction on what to move or keep in place to stage it better, and they captured our flat at its absolute best in under an hour. Bryan then took over the sales process, and I can’t rate him high enough - his support proved invaluable at the start of the proces, but even more so at the end of it (we really believe the chain would fall apart on last straight without him). Whilst the viewings were initially slow, it was clear when both Nick and Bryan stepped in to increase activity, which quickly led to an offer. Selling a property is a stressful, lengthy, and confusing process, especially when chain/multiple parties are involved. In our case, there were delays from several sides - housing association, our solicitors, buyer solicitor’s and others in the chain - Bryan was instrumental in keeping everything moving and in keeping us informed. He liaised consistently with all parties, communicated with us frequently, and helped us understand when we needed to step in and apply pressure on slower responders. Throughout the entire process, Bryan remained professional, responsive, and supportive. We never felt pressured, but thanks to Bryan and Nick, always informed and guided. His calm approach, persistence, and sense of humour at times helped take the edge off what would otherwise have been overwhelming process. Truly and honestly, we don’t think we would have completed the process without Bryan’s support! Though we suspect that if he didn’t have grey hair before, he may well have earned some thanks to our chain - he handled everything with unwavering professionalism.
