With the Partners of Winkworth Ealing & Acton having lived in the area for over 30 years, we really do know the area like the 'back of our hands'. We have witnessed many changes in the area with a busier parade of shops and we can still boast that this was the very first Nandos to open in Ealing Common! A fantastic place to live, if you want to be close to The Common itself, as well the convenience of getting into town.
An area that has enjoyed considerable price rises over the years, particularly with the prospect of Crossrail over the coming months which will reduce the journey time into The City by nearly half. The Churchfield Road parade of shops enjoys a real community spirit. A popular enclave with buyers from neighbouring Chiswick, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith.
Ealing Broadway (North & South)
A popular choice for young professionals and families alike. W5 has always been very popular given the differing styles and sizes of family houses, flat conversions and of course the more modern purpose built apartments. We have also witnessed an ever increasing number of bars and restaurants. Charlotte's W5 is well worth a visit; as is Santa Maria Pizzeria! That all said, there is still room to enjoy a number of parks and open green spaces.
Pitshanger is well known for its community spirit, good schools and of course Pitshanger Park, which is unique in comparison to most of our formal parks as it is bordered by the River Brent to the north, which acts as a haven for wildlife. In fact, it is an area of London that really does not feel as though one living in the capital!
Haymills & Hanger Hill Gardens
The Haymills Estate has always been popular with those that prefer the more modern detached style of house with own driveway and family sized gardens. It is popular with the corporate tenancy market and central London buyer alike.
