We have been showing our properties to overseas buyers in greater number as the recent price and currency moves come into play. As always the critical point we put to our vendors is that getting the initial asking price right at the very start is the key to a successful launch, enquiries, viewings and therefore offers.
Domestic buyers are also in evidence but mainly needs or circumstance driven rather than pure investment.
Brexit is having less impact as each day it seems that it will not be as bad (or as good) as the opposing arguments once suggested. My view is that London is and will remain an A list World class city to live, work and be educated in.
Our focus at the moment is to fill our shop window. We are as keen to take on new stock as we are to sell our existing flats. Low fee and high asking price is not our way and we aim to play to our strengths which are experience, knowledge and expertise. Fortunately most vendors understand the complexity of the current market phase and work with us on this basis.
Our exchanges this year are over a decent range indicating potential and activity across all property classes.
If you are thinking about selling now or soon, please do feel free to get in touch. I will be pleased to hear from you and promise straightforward and honest advice.
