Recently completed the sale of our large family home. Winkworth weren't the agent we chose first- we naively went with 2 other agents that gushed more when they viewed the house but when the other agents had failed to sell, we went to Paul at Winkworth. He seemed very good at managing the process after the viewing- negotiating low ball offers up to something that was acceptable and we sold very quickly through Winkworth having failed for a year with 2 other agencies. We have also used these as lettings agents for several years now and have found them to be far better than any other companies we have worked with. Honest, hard working and very professional. Our seller used these guys and they may as well have been working for both of us. We had a protracted and painful selling experience ourselves (nothing to do with Winkworth, just the property we were selling being tied up in lots or arcane conveyancing snares) and Anna especially went above and beyond in liaising with, chasing and co-ordinating all the disparate parties needed to make a sale happen. I just wanted to leave a big thank you to Winkworths, and in particular Tania, who isn't even my estate agent. We were due to purchase a property from a vendor managed by Winkworths and they turned out to be really difficult for all involved. Tania handled every difficulty with complete professionalism and empathy to all parties. This process didn't work out, and we had to go our separate ways, but it's only fair to say how well this was handled. I would highly recommend Winkworths to others in future, the pain and frustration of a purchase slowly falling apart would have been much harder without them.
