After mum died in March this year we needed a personal and friendly local service to help us through the whole process of selling mum's house. After experiencing the excellent service that the team gave us who my daughter sold and purchased her houses it was a no brainer to go with Winkworth. After our mother's death my brother and I were faced with the task of selling her house. We both live in other parts of the UK, so relied heavily on Winkworth to look after the process for us. We recently bought a house in Highcliffe through Winkworth after moving from Australia. Nick was fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient with us. The house purchase process is very different in the UK than in Australia, and Nick kept us informed at every stage. Unfortunately, due to our recent relocation to the UK, our mortgage application was substantially delayed, and Winkworth were fantastic at keeping the communication open between us and the vendors so that we didn't lose the house. I hope to be in my current house for many years, but if I ever needed to sell, I would use them...

Anna and Michael were incredibly helpful in our first-time buying journey, always cheerful and upbeat even when other aspects of the process were less than ideal. Anna managed our whole purchasing process, and was highly accomodating in arranging subsequent viewings and inspections, and invaluable in communicating with the seller's side when our less-than-helpful conveyancer caused delays and missed deadlines. I'd recommend Winkworth, and will most likely seek to use them as my agents when I come to sell my home in the future!

I received excellent initial advice from Simon Jacobs and we had an enquiry the moment the house was on Rightmove. The photos taken of our property showed it in its best light and were done with a normal lens, not a wide-angle, so that prospective buyers get to see what it is really like and are not disappointed when they view the real thing. We had a lot of enquiries in what could be described as a difficult market with the announcement of a general election generating wariness. Jim Heroys followed up with good advice during the negotiating stage and I also received great support from the rest of the team in the Marlborough office. I am sure that Winkworth achieved their objective by pleasing both the buyer and the seller.
