My father went into care in early 2020 and it soon became apparent that we were going to have to rent his house out to help pay the fees. I set about contacting a number of estate agents in Farnham and I'm so thankful that one of them was Winkworth. Stephen, the Managing Director, met me at my dad's house and within minutes of talking to him I felt a genuine empathy for my situation and an overriding feeling that I could trust Stephen and his team. The initial guidance he gave me was encouraging, reassuring and not overwhelming at all, just what I needed at that time. The decision of which agency to go for was very clear to me. I was then introduced to Annabel, the Lettings Director, and she could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or supportive. By the time the house was ready for rental, Annabel had already found me my first tenants. Her guidance throughout gave me a huge amount of reassurance as well as maximising the possible income from the property. My day to day contact was Sherry the Property Manager. She has been my rock throughout the whole renting process, nothing was too much trouble and she made the whole process for the three plus years we rented the property very very simple indeed. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge and a very positive attitude. At a very difficult time for me, she was always there to help and take away any stress. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares quite so much. With my father sadly passing away and the tenants giving notice for early this spring we decided to sell the property. I was then introduced to the next amazing member of the Winkworth team, Henry, the Sales Director. Henry, alongside Chelsea, has been brilliant and has done an amazing job of helping us to market and very quickly sell my father's house for what we feel is a very fair price. Working with Henry has been very easy indeed. He is the consummate professional, personable, very proactive and above all trustworthy. I can't thank or praise the people mentioned above (and everybody else at Winkworth that I may have missed) enough for their professional, empathetic and unwavering support. Winkworth did an outstanding job in letting my property and their assistance was particularly important because I was overseas at the time. We managed to work through time differences by using email, texts and phone, and I had to rely heavily on them to report back to me regularly, cut keys in my absence and cover all aspects of the viewing and letting process while the properties were concurrently being renovated. They were diligent in following up even outside office hours in order to get the property on the market and re-let.

Cant rate these guys highly enough when buying through them. Despite their obligations being with the seller they went above and beyond in helping me with the sale of my own property and advised me how best to manage things up to an eventual exchange.
