Sarah Russell was lovely to deal with and she knew what I was looking for by way of a rental. All the paper work was handled swiftly, communication was excellent, and I picked up keys as planned a few weeks ago. There are many lettings agents that have advertised properties on rightmove and then when you turn up to view the property it is nothing like the pics and in complete disarray. This was not the case with Winkworths. As I had also seen another property a few months prior. So more than happy to recommend. Also Sarah has such a friendly and professional manner.

Despite the market seeming to favour the cheap no frills internet based estate agencies there really is no substitute for the local high street variety, particularly as in my case I had a lot of properties to sell. Yes, of course I could have done it cheaper, but would that include the negotiation to increase an offer from £85K to £105K? Would that also include poking the odd solicitor to get a move on and also the important liaison service to ensure all parties are in step? That's worth paying for.

I engaged Winkworths to sell my leasehold property on recommendation from a friend. They weren't the cheapest - but I valued her opinion and will always be very glad I chose to give Winkworths my business. The most challenging of times to sell a house made bearable by the professionalism and experience of Justin at Winkworth. The first sale was due to complete on 9th April 2020 fell apart just before exchange due to the first Covid lockdown. Who knew what would happen next? Justin found us a tenant quickly who was interested in ultimately buying the house and almost a year to the day after we should have sold, the sale was completed. It has not been without its' stressful moments, but at all times, Justin has been available, understanding and his experience has helped to find a way through. Yes, estate agents' fees appear to be astonishingly high, but on this occasion I can honestly say we feel we have had incredibly good value for our money. Thank you Justin!
