From the outset I found that the service provided was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful and always ready to answer any questions, however basic! The sale of my property went very smoothly and delays were the result of legal requirements and nothing to do with Winkworth's abilities.

We just sold our flat via Winkworth Surbiton. Debbie was our agent there. From my corporate days, I remember a CxO of a very large IT company telling me that "when all goes well, everyone is good, but you can only see the value of others when they have to deal with real problems". How true... I sincerely think that without the drive and persistence of Debbie, the sale would not have happened. Finding the buyer is the easy part. Ensuring the sale closes is the hard part. Hannah was fantastic! She was very pro-active, always professional, super fast and kind throughout the whole rental process. She managed all my expectations, in terms of managing timeline, communicating my numerous requests to the landlord, giving me the info I needed and even finding time so we could re-visit the flat to take measurements at a day and time that was convenient for us. And on top of that, what's special about Hannah is that she is not only a terrific agent who knows her market inside out but she is a great listener and a very kind and caring person. Renting a flat is stressful (especially when you are 8 months pregnant) but Hannah makes it really easy and stress-free for you. I would totally recommend Hannah!

In a world where companies seem to have little regard for service, Winkworths in Banstead village is a jewel. Our experience was stressful due to it being the last weeks of the stamp duty discount and our solicitor being particularly difficult to contact. Richard, Andrew and their team at the Banstead Village branch kept us amazingly well informed about the whole chain and even managed to contact our solicitor when we couldn’t. They always dealt with us in a calm and professional manner. Down to the last minute they were there supporting us and providing us with the latest information and without their help and guidance, I don’t believe we could have completed in time. They are the most friendly and efficient team and were still offering help and advice once we had completed.

We chose to go with Winkworth because of Henry's knowledge of the £1m+ market in Farnham and his confidence that he could achieve the full asking price. We certainly didn't regret the decision and in fact sold our property prior to the wider launch on Rightmove (and for a higher price than that proposed by another premium national estate agent).
