Winkworth Estate Agents (Highcliffe) & Me. I have bought and sold a number of properties over the years, not as an hardened investor, just simple family man, I have had varying experiences, often very stressful and no doubt the source of many of my grey hairs! That was up until I chose Winkworth Estate agents to sell my apartment in Highcliffe, Dorset. Right from the off they were a breath of fresh air, Harvey visited to look around and gave his valuation, not a pumped up number to get me excited, a figure which I believed to be sensible & fair, Harvey is a charming and polite chap, he has far more experience than his years would portray, he has been easy to get hold of, patient with my questions, and doggedly determined to ensure everything went well, for both myself and my buyer, which I admire. My property completed today, and I cannot praise Harvey and the Winkworth team highly enough. 100% client focused.

This move has been far from easy and stressful at times due to a difficult chain. Massive thank you to Jade who managed updates every week throughout the chain and then towards the end, daily chasing. I was kept well informed. The issue being a poor conveyancer which proved very incompetent. Jade remained calm and professional and engaged through the chain to ensure we finally exchanged, even though only a few days before completion. She had to deal with my stress too! So thank you Jade, a great asset to Winkworth’s at Poringland. This is what a good estate agent is all about.

Winkworths have successfully let and managed my 2 bed apartment in London W8 for 14 years. I bought the apartment through them originally. The management of the flat has been excellent over that period. Gas and electric certifications have been carried out, tenant requests dealt with promptly ( but always checking with me first) with good quite reasonably priced contractors;, paying over money on time with clear statements of account, and generally good communication and no.hassle The quality of tenants has always been good, with only one exception, which over 14 years is an enviable record. Again, recentluy, when my long term tenant left recently due to Brexit, I was concerned that in the Covid environment I would have difficulty finding another tenant. Federico Young, the lettings manager, at Winkworth Old Church St W8 advised on the rent level, and kept adjusting it during the marketing phase because of Civid uncertainties and testing the market,, until after three weeks he secured a young professional couple on a two year lease to move in at Christmas. What i appreciated was that immediately my old tenant left, Federico visited the apartment, suggested irefreshing the kitchen cupboards and replacing the blind in the second bedroom, but nothing more, then foowed up post building work to check on things before organising the professional clean. Federico's professionalism and communication with me throughout was faultless. I liked that he called me on the phone to talk things through rather than relying on email, sent photos over whafsapp, got spare keys cut.. He was also responsive out of office hours if I had a question. Federico also had the foresight to take marketing photos with the new kitchen cabinets and bedroom. blind for.use when this tenant leaves, so not a second of void time would be asted next time.aroumd.
