Winkworths have successfully let and managed my 2 bed apartment in London W8 for 14 years. I bought the apartment through them originally. The management of the flat has been excellent over that period. Gas and electric certifications have been carried out, tenant requests dealt with promptly ( but always checking with me first) with good quite reasonably priced contractors;, paying over money on time with clear statements of account, and generally good communication and no.hassle The quality of tenants has always been good, with only one exception, which over 14 years is an enviable record. Again, recentluy, when my long term tenant left recently due to Brexit, I was concerned that in the Covid environment I would have difficulty finding another tenant. Federico Young, the lettings manager, at Winkworth Old Church St W8 advised on the rent level, and kept adjusting it during the marketing phase because of Civid uncertainties and testing the market,, until after three weeks he secured a young professional couple on a two year lease to move in at Christmas. What i appreciated was that immediately my old tenant left, Federico visited the apartment, suggested irefreshing the kitchen cupboards and replacing the blind in the second bedroom, but nothing more, then foowed up post building work to check on things before organising the professional clean. Federico's professionalism and communication with me throughout was faultless. I liked that he called me on the phone to talk things through rather than relying on email, sent photos over whafsapp, got spare keys cut.. He was also responsive out of office hours if I had a question. Federico also had the foresight to take marketing photos with the new kitchen cabinets and bedroom. blind for.use when this tenant leaves, so not a second of void time would be asted next time.aroumd. I never thought I’d be writing a glowing review for a lettings agent (in the past my experience with estate agents hasn’t been ideal). BUT Sarah Russell has blown me away with her “nothing is too much” attitude. From the beginning of the process (I’m a tenant) it was clear she cares deeply about the properties as if they were her own and treats her tenants with respect and care. She deals with everything IMMEDIATELY, is always upbeat, intelligent, sensitive and friendly. Extremely efficient, she literally sorts out any problem within minutes. Toby has also been fabulous, they work together brilliantly. If I was ever to sell or rent I would trust my property/friends looking to rent out/home with Sarah. Very, very impressed. It made the process of moving and renting very relaxing.
