After our mother's death my brother and I were faced with the task of selling her house. We both live in other parts of the UK, so relied heavily on Winkworth to look after the process for us. Both Andrew and Harry in Petersfield could not have offered a better service. Communication was always excellent, with regular updates, and good advice when the sale seemed to be in jeopardy. We recently bought a house in Highcliffe through Winkworth after moving from Australia. Nick was fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient with us. The house purchase process is very different in the UK than in Australia, and Nick kept us informed at every stage. Unfortunately, due to our recent relocation to the UK, our mortgage application was substantially delayed, and Winkworth were fantastic at keeping the communication open between us and the vendors so that we didn't lose the house. I hope to be in my current house for many years, but if I ever needed to sell, I would use them...

Having tried another local Farnham agent initially who were unable to generate any traction I moved the sale of my mother’s house to Winkworth Farnham. I wish I’d done it sooner and their service levels were night and compared to the previously instructed agent. Jamie Solis handled the instruction and his feedback and responsiveness was nothing short of impressive. The sale took longer than I would have liked but I attribute that to the fact the sale was in a chain and the market was not great. As the house was vacant I put all our trust into Winkworth and they were nothing short of exceptional. Thanks also to Henry who expertly navigated us through to exchange in the tense final days in Jamie’s absence.! Thanks all.
