We chose Winkworth to handle the sale of our Wandsworth property after considering, contacting and meeting a selection of Putney-based estate agents. Russell knows the area and market well. His guidance, realistic valuation and shrewd assessment of the market have led to a successful sale. He has also shown himself to be an excellent negotiator and deal maker in salvaging our sale from an unexpected complication.

These are the people you want to have sell your home. I have just completed on the sale of my beautiful but slightly quirky family home. Russell and his sales team at Winkworth ended up getting my home going to sealed bids within a week of it being on the market and sold it for £100k over the asking price. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was living abroad during the viewing process and they ensured the house looked perfect at all times. One of the sales team, Flora, even went over to the house and touched up the front garden gate with paint herself! The house was being used for short lettings throughout the viewing process and the entire team managed to work every viewing around the letting schedule, which meant they were doing back to back viewings for hours at a time without complaint. Very professional and supportive throughout. Some hiccups with initial buyer who exited during process but that was handled well and a new buyer was found very quickly. Subsequent challenges with buyer further along the chain was also handled well - and rebutted - when a price concession was sought at our expense at the head of the chain. Difficult to criticise anything.
