Winkworth grows its franchise support services

National estate agency Winkworth has recently expanded a number of its franchise support teams with new recruits for IT, Client Services and China Desk. This expansion caters for high demand from Winkworth’s growing network of offices, who the company provide with a full range of estate agency services to support their day-to-day business requirements.

Winkworth has not only expanded some of its current teams, but created a number of new offerings to cater to the business’ evolving needs. Winkworth’s IT team has a newly created SEO Executive role to ensure the website is always optimised to rank highly in search engines, as well as offering a new IT Support function to provide a high quality ‘one-stop-shop’ IT package for offices. The China Desk has also expanded its core team and created a new China Desk Marketing Executive role, and the Client Services team continues to recruit for further support as demand for its services increases.

Lucy King, Head of Recruitment at Winkworth, says: “We’ve been very busy recruiting and expanding our teams at Winkworth in the first half of this year, not just for our franchise services based in Mayfair, but also throughout our network. Currently around 20% of our offices are recruiting for additional staff, and that’s not including new office openings, so a very positive place to be mid-way through the year.

“In such a competitive market, it’s vital that we grow and adapt our services in order to demonstrate our commitment to providing our clients and our franchised offices with the highest quality of support. Our business is still growing and we are looking for new recruits for Client Services as well as our Recruitment team to help support the volume of activity taking place elsewhere in the group. It’s a very exciting time to join Winkworth!” Lucy concludes.

Winkworth currently has around 100 franchised offices, as well as a Mayfair-based office providing a support platform for all offices. Winkworth’s support services include: marketing, PR, client services, country house and international departments, corporate services, China desk, recruitment, training academy and IT support. Winkworth Central London Market Update - Q3 2018

Following a pick-up in activity toward the end of 2017, market activity in central London has flattened out in 2018. As taxation continues to stifle investment in central London property and Brexit negotiations (or lack thereof) remain at the forefront of the media, we’re experiencing a largely unchanged market.
