Earlier this year, Winkworth announced its latest expansion to unlock new homes opportunities across London – and the move is already benefiting its franchisees across the capital.
New homes expert Charles Jordan joined the business as part of the growth of the Development and Commercial Investments division led by Adam Stackhouse. A new website Winkworth New Homes is launching this month (May) to showcase the offering, backed by the expertise, breadth and reach of the Winkworth network across the capital and nationwide, and internationally through Winkworth’s China Desk and European links.
The ambition is to establish a New Homes presence across the 60 London offices, followed by regional hubs across the Winkworth network to provide nationwide coverage. There are huge opportunities to work with Winkworth franchisees, leveraging their strategic locations, hyper-local experience and knowledge established over 40 years, to extend Winkworth’s reach and offering in a rapidly changing residential market.
The New Homes team is offering strategic advice and support to developers, backed by a full sales service for buyers searching for a home or an investment property, from purchasing off-plan to completion. The team is working with franchisees to partner with developers building and launching new homes in their area, from major national housebuilders to boutique property companies. The expansion is already bearing fruit with key offices now handling instructions for Battersea Power Station, and at Nine Elms with Embassy Gardens and Thames City.
Charles Jordan, Winkworth Head of New Homes, said: “There is an enormous appetite from Winkworth franchisees and from developers who are impressed with the breadth of the franchise network. Franchisees are now benefiting from handling instructions for high-profile developments such as Battersea Power Station, a global brand.”
Adam Stackhouse, Winkworth’s Head of Developments and Commercial Investments, said: “We are offering a fully integrated operation in the new homes market, combining the experience and track record of our Developments and Commercial Investments division, with a focused new homes sales service. For franchisees, this offers the opportunity to tap into a lucrative income stream to add to their businesses.”
Winkworth is always looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join its franchise network. With a track record of 40 years’ experience, it was the first franchise agency in the UK and now has a franchised network of over 100 offices in towns and cities across the South-east and South-west, Central and Eastern England, including 60 in most strategic locations across the capital.
Potential franchisees are offered the chance to become an integral part of a highly regarded brand and strategic office network, with superb back office support offering training, compliance, IT, marketing and PR services provided by Winkworth’s central team.
Lucy Britton, Head of Talent and Recruitment at Winkworth, said: 'Winkworth’s expansion in land and new homes is our latest addition to the wide range of income streams our offices are able to offer. We are always looking for the franchisees of the future and we will provide all the assistance and advice needed to fund the move and plan for the growth and success of the business.”
