The vagaries of a Salisbury summer

We have heard much of hottest days this summer, with the final Bank Holiday feeling far more Mediterraen than I can ever remember.  Certainly, as we were bathed in day long sunshine, thoughts turned to a busy August with good weather combining with good buyers and tenants, producing some perfect conditions for our clients this summer.

Who knows if the Indian summer promised will materialise?  What we do know, is we have some splendid buyers and tenants registered with us, looking to make a move before the onset of autumn.  The lovely summer will doubtless giveway to a glorious autmn - which should, by all accounts be an early one, with such little rain.  Blackberries are almost ready for picking, everything, it seems has had a glorious summer!

As preparations are made for the start of the new acedmic year, and rugby boots take the place of cricket whites, the second half of the calender is a special time.  The countryside changes from such a heady summer towards mists and fruitfulness.  Fields, now ploughed, are pegged out for early season partridge and fare changes towards more late summer dishes, as we enjoy the run up towards the changing seasons ahead.

The tulmultous world stage is beset  with uncertainty.  But Salisbury, and its housing market, remains positive and full of oppurtunities.  To discuss how we can make your move a sucess this autumn, please call into our lovely offices on Milford Street, call us on 01722 443000 or drop us a line to; salisbury@winkworth.co.uk
