The joy of a job well done

The happy conclusion to a job completed is a satisfied client. Achieving the right result through skillful marketing, tenacious negotiating and constant communication is all in days work. But when it comes together and people lives are effected for the better, it rewarding to know your hard work really made a difference. The sale of country houses remains an inexact science, and each property brings with it unique features. Houses, like clients are entirely different and we must tailor our service accordingly. An 'off the peg', 'one size fits all' approach has little place when acting for such special people and properties. The devil is in the detail and preparation is everything. In our office, we have a well-known Banksy of a little girl who has lost her balloon and the inscription "there is always hope". Yet selling country houses has little to do with hope and is all about preparing for a successful outcome. By drilling down before coming to market, we can anticipate and overcome those points that will interest a surveyor and solicitor. Property sales are more like chess, rather than a game of chance and it is the stage four moves on that will determine a positive outcome. Campaigns can be won before they are fought and if not, the greatest chance of success given by stacking the odds in our clients favour through a well prepared sale. Not all estate agents are the same. Winkworth see things differently. Winkworth Salisbury
