We built it, and they came

It only seems five minutes ago I finally collected the keys to my office, following the hottest Friday on record at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim. Over six weeks, I worked in the loveliest weather, turning my hand to whatever the re-fit required. Poppy was still a puppy and enjoyed the build as much as I did, other than some incidents involving wet paint! I had set my heart on Salisbury and the Jacobean room that fronts The Brewery House. It seems I am not the only one who fell in love with these amazing offices and we regularly receive gasps of amazement from the numerous visitors that our charming corner position attracts. People have been wonderful. I found out quickly (during my summer as a builder) how kind and friendly the people of this special city are. But as a business, we have been able to act for the loveliest clients with the most beautiful properties. Quite apart from the Cathedral, the amazing schools, the vibrant shops and markets - it is easy to see why the people of Salisbury are so nice; they live in the nicest city! As Christmas approaches and the year comes to a close, I can only thank everyone that made our new business such a success and a joy to build. Our very best wishes for a wonderful Christmas and a vibrant 2015. With 800 years of the Magna Carta and Salisbury being the only UK city to make the Lonely Planet Best in Travel 2015 - we can't wait for the New Year! Happy Christmas! Winkworth Salisbury
