Michael Foldvari co-founded Winkworth Reading in 2014 alongside his close friend and business partner, James Hathaway. Since launching the branch, Michael has played a key role in driving its success, overseeing more than £360 million in property transactions, handling over 5,000 property rentals, and managing a growing portfolio of 700+ rental properties on behalf of landlord clients. Today, he and James are widely recognised as the go-to estate agents in the Reading area.

A Reading native, Michael’s deep-rooted knowledge of the town gives him a distinct edge in understanding the local property market. His passion for property began in 2001 when he started his career at Jon Hallett Ltd. There, he rapidly advanced to a senior position, helping to build a market-leading agency known for its outstanding client service. His career also includes time with another leading local agency in Reading, as well as a stint in Dubai working for a property developer — adding an international dimension to his expertise.

Mollie began her agency career in 2018 at another successful agency in Newbury. She has been meticulously trained in all aspects of agency and within two years showed an aptitude for valuing and customer service. Building on her experience, Mollie subsequently joined Winkworth in 2023 to focus on Sales Valuing and Customer Service. Mollie’s professional and friendly approach has won her much praise from existing and new clients that she has brought on board. Sam is now in his fourth year of Estate Agency. His training was with a large corporate agent where he specialised in Lettings. Sam’s role was to take applicants from initial viewings right through to negotiating tenancies on behalf of his Landlords. In 2022, Sam made the step up to Winkworth Newbury where he began training as a Sales and Lettings Consultant. Sam is now responsible for managing his own list of applicants and properties and ensuring that clients are given the best possible service from instruction to completion. Jack is now going into his third year of estate agency in the local area and took the step up to join Winkworth in September 2024. Jack has shown an aptitude for constantly providing the highest level of customer service for all clients. This paired with Jack’s positive attitude and local knowledge from having lived in the area his whole life, has been extremely well received throughout his career thus far. Outside of work, Jack’s hobbies consist of football, which he plays during the week in a 5 a side team, and anything to do with cars, as he would like to start modifying his own in the near future.

Tamsin relocated to the Newbury area in 2013 having worked in the London market for 10 years. She has been Property Manager with Winkworth Newbury now for nine years and is valued by our longstanding tenants and landlords alike.
