Pluckley is a picturesque rural village and civil parish in the Ashford district of Kent close to the North Downs.

Locally, Pluckley station (200 metre walk) is on the Charing Cross line where can you travel direct to London Bridge or London St Pancras via Ashford International High speed link in in approximately 1hr. The village itself is less than 7 miles away from Ashford town centre and Ashford International train station which operates the high speed rail link to London in just 38 minutes as well as services to the continent via Eurostar. Junction 9 of the M20 is the closest motorway junction and the Channel Tunnel is only 11 miles from there. There are two popular local pubs - The Black Horse and The Dering Arms, both of which serve fine food and local ales. Pluckley C of E primary school has a good Ofsted rating and Ashford has an excellent choice of secondary schools in both the state and private sector.
