Urchfont is one of those very English villages with a duck pond, a green, a pretty church and pub. The houses, both large and small are full of character and the occupants form a lively and friendly community. The village is known for its annual scarecrow festival and the village hall (as well as playing host to the visiting doctor's surgery) is home to several clubs and societies so there is plenty for the newcomer to do.
