Devizes is a vibrant country town surrounded by beautiful countryside including Roundway Down and Salisbury Plain, ideal for those who enjoy walking and riding. The Kennet and Avon Canal with its famous flight of locks runs through the town and there are a host of lively festivals and events each year.

There is a good range of shops and supermarkets, cafes and pubs plus a bustling weekly produce market. The town also has a cinema, library, leisure centre, loads of clubs and societies as well as a strong artistic community.

Communications are good with mainline stations at Pewsey and Chippenham (both within half an hour) going into London Paddington in just over an hour and access to the M4 and A303 both within half an hour.

The historic cities of Bath and Salisbury are both within an hour's drive and of course have a huge range of shopping and entertainment opportunities.
