Theale is a large characterful village located on junction 12 of the M4 and just 5 miles west of Reading town centre and 13 East of Newbury. Theale has a quaint high-street with four excellent pubs, restaurants, a bank and a wide variety of shops to serve the local community. It has a countryside feel with many large lakes and a nature reserve. Arlington Business Park can be found beside the railway station and is home to some well recognised international firms such as KPMG, Pepsi Co and Hewlett Packard. There are excellent transport links with Theale railway station served by local services to Reading, Newbury and London within 45 minutes. Theale Primary school was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted and there is also a well-regarded secondary school and private day nursery in the village.
