I don't normally write reviews unless I'm really happy with the level of service/ help I've received and this is no exception. Estate agents have a terrible reputation in general and having dealt with a number of them, I understand why. \nMy experience with Winkworth in Finchley however was very different. I come from a strong property background myself and would historically always go the extra mile to be helpful and answer queries. Sadly, most agents don't adopt this mentality. Alex, however was extremely helpful from the get-go and was honest with me, which is something on which I place a lot of value. Before even viewing the house, I asked how Winkworth had come to their valuation and he immediately conducted due diligence and emailed me a list of comparables. When I told him I needed someone to hold my hand with this purchase a little, he was only too happy to help and offered to meet me on various occasions at the property to address any concerns. He also mediated and played the role of the middle man very well as we all know selling/ buying a home can be a stressful and emotional experience. Even after exchanging he has offered to help me with arrangements regarding the sale of my own property (which was a private sale!)\nI cannot recommend Alex highly enough and I am very difficult to please! I must also mention Oprah who is also honest to a fault and has a great, upbeat yet professional character. I'll be inviting both Alex and Oprah round for a coffee and to see the house once we're in and have put our own stamp on the place.
