Colyton Grammar School is one of the leading co-educational selective schools in the country and has been rated outstanding for the past three years. There is intense competition for places. Of the other schools nearby, the Woodroffe School is a comprehensive in Lyme Regis, ranked outstanding, and the Axe Valley Community College in Axminster is good.

Tetsworth, Oxfordshire £700,000

State schools in nearby Thame and Watlington are considered good or outstanding.
