Changing face of Estate Agency

Just a normal Saturday in the office - except there's no 'office' for mein St Albanstoday! Saturdays used to be spent taking enquiries from buyers and sellers in our High Street office and of course showing buyers around possible purchases. Since the transition from a one off local agent to 'Winkworth', I find myself increasingly adapting my work practises to suit the new client base: which is how I came to be set up in a Starbucks 4 miles out of town for no less than three 'client meets ' today. We put the emphasis heavily on client service and with St Albans city centre part-closed for the Saturday street market it saves clients time and trouble to meet out of town. Little did the other coffee -revellers know that documents were being signed to market a development plot and a £995,000 house at a tucked away table this morning! In addition we've set up a meet later to discuss a £1.85 million farm conversion with a buyer who's arriving from Heathrow this morning. With our nationwide access to premium buyers, it makes sense to provide bespoke personal service because that's what makes us stand out - personal service and attention to detail. Vive la difference!
