Award success!

Last week was an important night in the property industry calendar, with 179 shortlisted companies coming together to see who would win gold, silver and bronze at the prestigious Negotiator Awards. There were 23 categories in total, all of which had three prizes up for grabs. Winkworth was shortlisted for two of the awards – Marketing Team of the Year and Franchisor of the Year and we’re pleased to say that we didn’t come away empty handed for either! For Marketing Team of the Year we were delighted to win the silver award. Our marketing department has been working extremely hard all year to implement many exciting changes to the company, including a brand new website, new office interiors, new sales boards and marketing materials, and of course, promoting not only the brand but also the individual offices and the great properties they are marketing. So this award was very much deserved and it was great to see all their hard work recognised. James Peacock, Head of Brand, commented, ‘It’s a great honour to have won the silver award when we were up against some great competition. The department has worked non-stop all year to ensure that we are producing innovative and original marketing campaigns to ensure that we are delivering the best possible solutions to our clients so I’m thrilled that our work has been noted for having the impact we desired.’ The other category Winkworth was shortlisted for was Franchisor of the Year and we were pleased to have been awarded the bronze prize. It has been a brilliant year for the company, with six new offices opening since the start of the year, in addition to a company merger in Exeter and a master franchise agreement in India, with the first office opening in Bangalore. All of which has strengthened the service we are able to offer our clients as we look to expand our network into key areas. As well as this, we are able to offer services such as the International Department, Country House Department and China Desk, all of which was noted in our entry to the award. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers of the Negotiator Awards and all the judges for a great evening and we look forward to the event next year. Fingers crossed we will be successful again!
