A good start

2017 has been a fascinating few weeks, full of market activity, sales, lettings and enquiries.  We have been blessed by some beautifuly cold, crisp mornings and haunted by persistant freezing fog which clings to the air like a cloud of coldness.

Matches have been cancelled due to frozen pitches, yet discussions have ablazed with talk of Brexit and Trump, along with other news which continues to suprise and shock - proving the only one constant is change.

Markets are regional, as much as the weather.  Salisbury has had its share of good and bad weather this January, but it has also enjoyed a viracious market with a seemingly insatiable appetite for country houses, both for sale and for rent.

2016 was a remarkable year.  In the seventh year of the decade, the cyclical nature of markets suggests we are in for a good year, as has been experienced in 2007, 1997, 1987 and so on.  The truth is, we simply cannot tell. What we do know is that people like living in Salisbury and there simply aren't the houses available.

Whilst it is, perhaps a litle early to tell, we are enthusiastic and enjoying being so busy!
