Location

Heron Island is accessed from Mill Lane which is off Gosbrook Road on the southern border of Caversham on the north bank of the River Thames. Caversham village centre is half a mile to the west and Reading train station is just over the river Thames and can be accessed by either Reading Bridge or the new Christchurch footbridge from Christchurch Meadows.
