Socialist Francois Hollande’s electoral victory this weekend in France, marks the end of Sarkozy’s reign. The move to the left will bring some big changes for the wealthy French. One of the most notable changes that Hollande intends to introduce is a 75% tax on anyone earning over €1 million. Winkworth agents are predicting that more French people will look to move to the UK where they will be taxed at 50% on their earnings.

Winkworth Battersea has supported Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal for a number of years and the team were keen to continue their support for the charity in 2012. Last week Winkworth Battersea rounded up a team of 50 volunteers from all the Winkworth offices, including Winkworth franchising, to spend 12 hours shaking buckets in Waterloo station.

M Winkworth PLC [‘Winkworth’] has opened an office in Grantham. The office will cover the town and surrounding villages such as the Vale of Belvoir, Long Bennington, Allington, Harlaxton, Colsterworth, Manthorpe, Belton, Barrowby, Great Gonerby and Old Somerby.

Winkworth’s Clapham, Kennington and Pimlico offices are also pledging to back the service and sign up to give blood.
