Winkworth Opens in the Midlands as Northampton Regeneration Is Given the Green Light
Winkworth is opening in Northampton, commencing its targeted growth across the Midlands.
Northampton is ideal commuter territory for people working in London, (45 minutes direct to Euston by train). The area offers a wide range of housing at attractive prices, and has seen steady growth across all property sectors with completions over the past 12 months up by more than 4% on the same period in 2008/9.
Dominic Agace, CEO of Winkworth PLC says:
‘Northampton is less than one hours’ commute from London and provides access to open countryside with affordable prices for those who are looking to move out of London with young families.’
‘Our office in Northampton will complement our existing London network and we look forward to providing our Northampton clients with buyers from London.’
Central government has designated West Northamptonshire as a flagship growth area with plans to transform Northampton into a regional city. The town centre is to be redeveloped and over £55 million is being invested to start development on Northampton Waterside. Road schemes have been allocated £20 million, which will further improve Northampton’s connectivity.

Geoff Morgan, Franchisee of Winkworth Northampton says:
‘I believe Northampton is an ideal place to open an estate agency. The area is targeted for growth over the coming years with significant development, not only in the housing stock, but also the town centre and the overall local infrastructure. We are determined to demonstrate that Winkworth Northampton will make a real contribution to these plans.’
