South of the Harringay Ladder is Finsbury Park which holds concerts and is great for summer picnics. To the west is the fashionable Crouch End Broadway. Further up Green Lanes, north of Turnpike Lane, is Wood Green. Wood Green is plentiful of department stores, restaurants and bars. Within this area exists many streets of attractive Victorian built houses and also some converted apartments. To the west stands Alexandra Palace which offers a wide range of attractions including a Ice Rink, Boating Lake and 18-hole Pitch & Putt Golf Course.
